A Guide to Player Housing
Bio-Engineered Kimogila – Nerfed to Extinction
Very early after launch, I met a Master Bio-Engineer giving away his most expensive assets away in the the starport outpost of Dathomir (he was quitting the game), including rare genetically engineered creatures. This player happened to have an experimental clone of a Kimogila, one of the largest creatures in the game, found only on the planet of Lok. It was the same size as a Krayt Dragon but on a lower tier of difficulty. Creature Handlers were never actually given the ability to use it in combat (its creature level was too high), despite it being listed as a trainable pet. The developers decided to scrap it from the list instead.
My Kimogila had about 18,000 hitpoints for each HAM bar. Because it was ‘crafted’ by a Bio-Engineer, its stats were superior to that of a trained wild Kimogila. I was never able to use him against other players and NPCs. It was nerfed not long after that player gave it to me that fateful day.
He would be the one of the very few remaining Kimogilas bred in captivity. His body was so massive that his tail could be seen poking out of the walls in some rooms of my house. People have actually freaked out in real life when they walked into my house and saw this thing staring back at them in-game.
Giant Kimogila
The giant kimoglia is notoriously difficult to kill. Native to Lok, its thick skin has evolved to protect it from the sulfur pools on the planet and is almost impervious to blaster fire. It also boasts one of the most toxic venoms known in the Galaxy. The “Kimogila” starfighter has been named after this beast.
